Actress Ashley Tisdale was treated to a piggy back ride from her High School Musical co-star Zac Efron on Saturday as she celebrated her birthday with a beach party in Malibu, California.
Tisdale invited her friends and family to join in the festivities as she turned 26 and she frolicked in the sand with hunky Efron before climbing onto his back for a playful ride as they headed into a friend's house nearby.
And the birthday girl was delighted to have her close pal on hand, as well as her boyfriend, music director Scott Speer.
In a series of posts on her Twitter.com blog, she writes, "So happy zacary (sic) made it to my party!!! He's my brother/best friend!!!

Getting ready for a nationally televised performance, Matthew Morrison was busy rehearsing for "A Capitol Fourth" in Washington, D.C. on Sunday afternoon (July 3).

QUEBEC CITY (Reuters) - Anti-monarchist protesters failed to disrupt the visit of Britain's Prince William and his wife Kate to Quebec, which was the most politically sensitive portion of their Canadian royal tour.
A group estimated by local reporters at about 200 people used loudspeakers on Sunday to decry the royal family and call for sovereignty for the French-speaking province, but they were kept far away from the couple in Quebec City.
The royal family's Canadian visits in recent years have often avoided stops in Quebec, where many still see as a raw wound Britain's defeat their of France in 1759 giving it sovereignty over to Canada.
Hundreds of demonstrators protested the Queen's visit to Quebec City in 1964, and groups favoring Quebec's separation from Canada had vowed to give the newlywed Duke and Duchess of Cambridge a rough ride.
Despite those concerns, William and Kate chose to visit both Quebec City and Montreal as part of a nine-day tour of Canada that monarchists hope will restore flagging Canadian interest in the royal family.
Protesters at events in Montreal on Saturday were also outnumbered by well-wishers.
The couple visited a youth shelter in Quebec city before attending a ceremony honoring the "Van Doos", an infantry regiment based in the provincial capital that has done extensive duty in Afghanistan.
William, in brief remarks in French, acknowledged his weakness in speaking the language used by 83 percent of Quebec residents who would become his subjects if he becomes king as the British monarch is also Canada's head of state.
"Thank you for your patience with my accent, and I hope that we will have the chance to get to know each other over the years to come," he said.
After Quebec, the William and Kate will travel to Prince Edward Island, Northwest Territories and Alberta, where they are expected to receive warm greetings as they did in earlier stops in Ottawa.
The couple will visit California after leaving Canada.

Catching a late night flight back to the west coast, Khloe Kardashian touched down at LAX Airport on Saturday (July 2) alongside husband Lamar Odom and his two kiddies, Destiny & Lamar Jr.
The reality family flew into Los Angeles following a short stay in New York City, as Khloe tweeted prior to takeoff, "Leaving NYC this evening! I have so much fun here I hate leaving so soon sometimes but ill be back next week."

The travels come just days after it was announced that the Kardashian family is up for four Teen Choice Awards - with winners to be crowned during a live ceremony on August 7th.
Making for an interesting scenario, "Khloé & Lamar" was nominated for Choice TV: Reality Show while facing off against her sisters' show "Kourtney & Kim Take New York".
Meanwhile, Kim was nominated for Choice Female Hottie while Lamar finds himself in the running for Choice TV: Male Reality Variety Star.

As recently as last month, ?Training Day? director Antoine Fuqua was slated to direct a biopic about the life of Tupac Shakur. Now 24 Frames has learned that the director has stepped away from that film and is instead poised to join a movie that revolves around a different hip-hop artist: Eminem.
Fuqua is set to come aboard ?Southpaw,? a fictional boxing drama written and conceived by ?Sons of Anarchy? creator Kurt Sutter and starring the Detroit rapper, said a source briefed on the film who requested anonymity because he wasn?t authorized to speak about it publicly. The DreamWorks film aims to shoot later this year. Fuqua has no formal deal in place as yet. [Update, 6:52 p.m.: A person close to Fuqua said the two still must work out a number of deal points.]
A studio spokeswoman declined comment.
The project?s progress is good news for fans of Eminem, who received acclaim for his turn as a talented rapper in 2002?s ?8 Mile? but has not taken a lead movie part since. The man born Marshall Mathers does have a propensity for working with top-tier filmmakers: ?8 Mile? was directed by Curtis Hanson, and Eminem also appeared in this year?s well-regarded Chrysler Super Bowl spot, which was helmed by decorated music-video director Samuel Bayer.
